How to Deal w/ Negativity | REAL SPILL w/ Trice

This is a series that I am starting on my YouTube channel and wanted to incorporate into my blog as well. Its called Real Spill w/ Trice where I am coming to you with everything real about life.



Today, I wanted to share with you what I have been going through lately and give you a little insight on my new understandings. For those of you who don't know I am a college student and that in itself can be overwhelming at times. In spite of college life, I have other things going on in my life as well that can add to the load bearing pressure. Recently, I've come to find myself feeling insecure and worrisome which really put a damper on my spirit. The feelings came in out of nowhere and felt so strong that it lowered my vibrations.

I was starting to feel stressed because the things I want for my life right now are not reality. There's even been things that happened unexpectedly that altered my state of mind. So, I have been walking around with a little, funky cloud over my head for the past few days... On the bright side, I found ways to pick myself up a little bit to reclaim my positivity. Battling these negative thoughts and energies has not been easy and these tips that I'm going to give to you is what I try to practice and I'm still learning as I go.

1. Accept the right now.

Everything that is happening right now, is going to be right now. It doesn't mean that change isn't on the way because change is always occurring. However, beating yourself up or staying in a negative state of mind will not change the current situation. Accept it and find some sort of solitude in it because IT IS WHAT IT IS!

2. Exercise

Working out when you are in a little funk can help pick your spirits up tremendously! Play some of your favorite music and get to it. Just try it! 

3. Grind harder.

If there is something not happening in your life that you want to happen, use that as motivation to grind for what you want even harder. Anything that you do can use a little more effort. Compete with your self to be better than you were the day before. 

4. Speak life within yourself.

The power is in the tongue! If you are physically expressing the negative thoughts that you are having, it can become of you and bring you to your lowest of lows. But if you are speaking positive things within your life, those things can become reality. Express that you are handling things well and getting business done, even in the midst of feeling overwhelmed and feeling as if you really aren't. It will make a world of difference.
